Guide to assessing road-traffic noise using NZS 6806 for state highway asset improvement projects

This guide describes the processes to be used on NZTA asset improvement projects for assessing and, where required, determining appropriate mitigation for road-traffic noise. These processes are based on New Zealand Standard NZS 6806:2010. The guide also gives effect to NZTA's state highway project development and delivery standards, in particular SM030 Minimum Standard Z/19 - Social and Environmental Management. As such, this guide is aimed in particular at NZTA project managers; acoustics specialists and planners.
